Cornwall five piece Flo Crowe & The Dilemmas have put out their self titled debut album, and it delivers on every front. Across thirteen tracks, the group mixes folk style vocal harmonies, electro pop beats, and scratchy guitar lines into a sound that feels both intimate and expansive. At an average age of twenty, the band consists of lead singer and keyboardist Flo Crowe, vocalists Cerys Wilcox and Paige Mullin, guitarist Grace C.G., and electronic drummer Moses Seaber. Together, they create an inviting atmosphere where connection and community take center stage.

The vocal arrangements form the emotional core of the record. Flo’s expressive lead vocals gain incredible depth when paired with the close harmony work of Cerys and Paige. “That Was That” and “Shy Girl” highlight how effortlessly the group blends gentle melody with energetic rhythms, and “Anti-Sociable” is my favorite. Driven by piano, stacked voices, and gritty guitar work, the song turns feeling out of place into a joyful anthem built for big live singalongs, and other highlights like “Bigger and Brighter”, “Salvation”, and “When The Sun Beats Down” show off their knack for crafting infectious hooks and throughout the album, Moses’ electronic drum patterns keep everything moving, while Grace’s guitar touches add just the right amount of edge to balance the sweet vocal blends.

Everything about “Flo Crowe & The Dilemmas” feels genuine, vibrant, and deeply human and the production lets the natural chemistry of the band shine, making each song feel like a warm, welcoming space to escape the noise of everyday life.

Personally, I absolutely love this album from start to finish.
