Bones of the Sun – “Songs from the Garden”

I spent the entire afternoon listening to the wonderful new debut solo EP, Songs from the Garden, by Bones of the Sun, and it is a truly beautiful experience. The whole project has a wonderful balance of cinematic scale and raw vulnerability. Listeners can hear quiet reflection mixed with emotional intensity. Because the artist wrote, recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered everything in his home studio, the recordings have an honest, human quality that keeps the imperfections and atmosphere intact. And I appreciate artists who do all the work; it shows how talented they are.

The lead single Stargazing features a beautiful stripped back arrangement with interweaving acoustic guitars and soft vocals. It’s impressive that it was created in a single evening, the track captures the emotional turbulence and uncertainty of young adulthood with real intimacy. Another standout moment is the upcoming single, My Song, which brings a massive amount of appeal to the tracklist.

The EP provides plenty of rich melodies, acoustic textures, and delicate vocals that make you enjoy every detail. This project is less a collection of tracks and more an experience that stays with you long after the final note fades, and it’s safe to say it’s one of the best records I’ve heard this week.

This brilliant project completely establishes him as an exciting voice in indie music. If you genuinely enjoy these specific songs, you should check out his previous collaboration work with dome 3000 back from September 2025. And make sure to follow Bones of the Sun online to stay fully updated about new releases in the rest of this year.
