Ker – “Wōndering on Giants”

Ker is the solo project of Scottish songwriter and producer Barry G.K. Thomson. His debut single, “Wōndering on Giants”, came out on December 1, 2025 and it’s the first track from his upcoming album Converging Paths, expected in 2026.

What I really like is how grounded and intentional the song feels. Ker doesn’t sound like someone guessing his way through music. This feels like the result of taking time, figuring things out, and then hitting record when it all finally clicked and the arrangement is straightforward but layered in a way that holds your attention. His influences like The Beatles, Neil Young, and Pink Floyd are easy to hear, but they’re used with care, not copied.
