Erotika Dabra – “My Own Magic (Erotika Rerub)”

Erotika Dabra has brought back “My Own Magic” with a fresh rerub, it’s just impressive, and I love it. It’s not a huge overhaul, but it’s definitely a new vibe, and you can still hear pieces of the original, but this one feels more stripped-down and dialed in. It’s one of the best releases I’ve heard this month so far.

The electro swing influence gives it some bounce, but it’s not loud or overdone, and the whole track has a steady groove that will impress you. I just love how it’s got this natural rhythm that makes you want to move but also pay attention, and there’s a good mix of tension and release, and it all flows without feeling messy.

You get the sense that Erotika Dabra knows exactly what they’re doing. This rerub feels like it came from someone who understands their sound and wanted to shape it into something that hits a little differently than before, but still feels like them.
