Scott’s Tees – “We Move As Fast As Storms Allow”

Scott’s Tees is a solo artist from Edmonton, and their latest single, “We Move As Fast As Storms Allow”. It’s a pretty raw track in the best way, you can tell it was recorded at home. It was literally done in a bedroom with a Tascam recorder and Audacity, but that actually adds a lot to it, it just feels real.

There’s a strong mix of alt-rock and folk going on. Even though the influences come from bands like Pearl Jam and Iron and Wine, the sound has its own thing going. The chorus really lands. The harmonies there are probably the biggest highlight, and it’s the part you remember after the song ends. There aren’t any shows coming up right now, it seems like Scott’s Tees is more focused on getting better at recording and trying new stuff. That mindset makes the whole project feel grounded and like it’s really about the music.

If you’re into songs that sound like someone actually sat down and made something personal without overthinking it, this is worth a listen. Follow Scott’s Tees on social media to keep up with what’s coming in 2025.
