Love Ghost – “Car Crash”

Love Ghost released a new single titled “Car Crash”, and it’s a real shift from what we’ve come to expect from him. It’s stripped back, with just piano, vocals, and a few percussion elements, and that’s kind of what makes it hit harder.

The whole vibe feels like you’re sitting with someone who’s telling you about a breakup they still haven’t figured out how to process. It’s personal and kind of haunting in how quiet it gets at times. There’s a real sadness underneath it all, but it’s not overdone or dramatic, just honest. The title fits too, “Car Crash” really nails the feeling of something ending so suddenly, it leaves you stunned. For me, it’s one of the best tracks that Love Ghost has ever released.
