Genovieve – “National Park”

Genovieve just released a new single, “National Park”, and it’s a thoughtful one. The track leans into this idea between city life and the quiet pull of nature. What I really appreciated is how grounded it is in that feeling of wanting stillness, like needing a long drive out to the woods to sort your thoughts. I’m glad that this rising artist landed on my radar.

When you hit the play button and start enjoying the guitar and her rich and beautiful voice, you can almost picture those Sequoia trees and the quiet around them. It’s not trying to be dramatic, it just gently sits with some very real, very human emotions.

It’s also nice to see an artist like Genovieve explore grief, nostalgia, and love without pushing a message too hard. The song lets you feel things in your own time. If you’re into indie folk that leans ambient and emotional, this one’s worth checking out. Keep an eye on Genovieve. Follow her on socials to catch what else she’s putting out through the rest of 2025.
