Ian Vargo – “Surfboard”

Ian Vargo’s “Surfboard” is a sun-drenched gem that you need this summer, and I know it will stick in your head for days. Inspired by his daughter’s spur-of-the-moment request, the track is a nostalgic nod to the golden days of pop rock, warm, layered, and just a little bit bittersweet.

Ian clearly knows what he is doing, there’s a sincerity here that’s hard to fake. His vocal delivery is earnest and clear, landing in that sweet spot between tender and laid-back.
