Peel – “Tears from the Sun”

I’ve been listening to Peel’s music for a while now and every time I play their new track ‘Tears from the Sun’ it hits me right in the feels. Pim’s voice is something that just cuts through all the noise and goes straight to your heart. Each line is delivered with this perfect mix of fragility and strength that makes you want to listen over and over again.

The guitar layers build up slowly, creating this dreamy atmosphere that wraps around you like a warm blanket. The melody soars and you soar with it and when it pulls back, you feel that gentle ache that good music should give you. This Norwegian band knows how to write songs that you can’t get out of your head. “Tears from the Sun” is that bittersweet feeling of holding onto something precious, knowing it might slip away.
