West Friends – “It Is What It Is”

I’m just impressed by West Friends’ new release, titled “It Is What It Is”. It’s one of the rarest times that you get hooked from just the first couple seconds of the track and you are like, I want to hear this gem.

It goes into that feeling we all know too well, being completely overwhelmed by everything that’s going on around us. It really connects with the way they explore themes of checking out mentally and putting on fake smiles. It’s raw and honest, without being preachy about it. The Seattle/San Francisco duo knows how to make a good track that sticks in your head all week and I’m sure you will love it.
