Victòria Vilalta – “Mumbling”

Victòria Vilalta is back with “Mumbling”, and to be quite frank, this song got to me in the best way. It is the kind of track that starts with a dreamy sound and what makes it memorable is how realistic it is. If you have ever found yourself in a cycle of overthinking, this song captures it perfectly. This is the first time I wrote about Victòria, but I already admired one of her previous songs titled “The Page“.

There’s something so raw and honest in the way Victòria delivers each lyric, it’s like she’s voicing thoughts we’ve all had but never knew how to put into words. The production is also taken to the next level. It is possible to see that she has grown from her previous work on “Regalar”, adding rich, enveloping sounds that make “Mumbling” even more epic and moving. The way the song progresses and adds all these fragile yet strong components is simply beautiful.

It is the first single from her upcoming album “Out Loud Thoughts” and if this is the kind of energy she is going to bring to the album, I am looking forward to listening to it.
