Tyrone Sanborn Webster – “Intention”

Tyrone Sanborn Webster’s new single, “Intention”, is rich and easy to follow. He keeps it stripped down and honest, which makes it hit in a different way. Just him, his guitar, and whatever he’s working through in that moment.

The track is part of his debut album, also titled “INTENTION”, which actually started as something he was making just for himself to meditate to, that’s pretty rare. Most artists don’t share that kind of stuff, but Tyrone took that quiet, introspective starting point and turned it into something that still feels raw, even as a finished song. It’s ne of the most talented artists I’ve covred this month so far.

What’s cool is that the whole album was recorded at home, and that vibe carries through. It doesn’t sound rough, though. It’s more like you’re sitting next to him while he plays. And the way he mixed in older songs, poems from his notebook, and new ideas during recording gives everything a layered, lived-in feel.

“Intention” isn’t trying to be anything other than what it is. That’s why it works. Definitely worth following Tyrone on socials to see where he takes things next in 2025. This is just the beginning.
