The New Citizen Kane – “San Diego”

“San Diego” by The New Citizen Kane can easily stick in your head. From the first few seconds, I felt like I was being pulled into a dream I didn’t want to wake up from. I didn’t not only love the lyrics are clear and the professional production, but the video is amazing and makes you feel the music.

The vocals are hazy and full of feeling, and the line “You broke my heart in San Diego” hit me way harder than I expected. It’s got that kind of sadness you want to sit with for a while, but it still feels beautiful. I’ve had the chorus stuck in my head all day, it loops in a way that just feels right.
