Super Creeps – “A Bug’s Life”

Super Creeps’ new EP, titled “A Bug’s Life”, and it’s a quick, gritty punch of energy that doesn’t mess around. It’s only three tracks long, but each one has its own kind of punch. Loud, rough around the edges, and catchy in all the right ways. You can tell they weren’t trying to overthink anything here, it really sounds like a band that just got back in the room, plugged in, and started having fun again.
Out of the three, “Accomplice to Murder” is the one I’ve had on repeat, it’s stunning and easy to follow, and the riff just sticks. The way it barrels forward reminds me of why I got into garage rock in the first place. No frills, just a sharp, fast hit that gets under your skin and stays there. If they’d only released that one track, I’d still be satisfied. They also worked with Reto Peter on this, the guy behind the boards for Green Day and Modest Mouse, and it shows.
Super Creeps say they’ve got more music on the way, so now’s a good time to follow them on socials and keep an eye out for what’s coming next in 2025.
