Stephani Ezatoff’s new single, “God Will Open The Windows Of Heaven”, is a bold and heartfelt take on Babbie Mason’s Gospel classic. Recorded at the legendary Sound Shop on Nashville’s Music Row, the track benefits from the expertise of producer Brian Speer and an all-star lineup of Nashville session players and background vocalists.

Stephani leans into the natural crossover between Gospel and Blues, giving the song a Southern boogie-woogie edge that feels organic and full of life. It’s respectful to the hymn’s roots but unafraid to add grit and swagger and the tack it can easily stick in your head. The fact that this was one of the last projects recorded at the Sound Shop before its demolition makes it even more special. One of the musicians involved called it “history in the making”, and it’s hard to disagree.
