Ryan Edward Kotler – “Insomnia”

Ryan Edward Kotler’s “Insomnia” is wonderful and easy to follow, and the whole thing plays out like someone sitting with their thoughts in the middle of the night, stuck in that weird space between missing someone and trying to keep it together. It’s got this quiet heaviness that doesn’t feel forced, and what’s cool is that this track started as one of his early demos, and now it’s been reworked into something that still feels super personal. You can tell nothing in it is there just to sound nice. It’s more about saying what needs to be said.

If you’re into songs that don’t pretend everything’s fine, go follow Ryan Edward Kotler on social media so you don’t miss any new music, behind-the-scenes stuff, or upcoming shows.
