Rachael Sage – “Canopy”
Rachael Sage’s new album Canopy really hit me in a good way. There’s this mix of folk-pop and old-school grooves that’s super easy to get into. I’ve had “Just Enough” on repeat because it feels like it belongs on a retro jukebox but still totally works today. “Live It Up” is another one that stood out. It’s upbeat without being cheesy and the way it pushes back against all the negativity out there kinda stuck with me. The whole thing’s got heart without being heavy.
