OB1 – “Miss you”

OB1’s “Miss You” is smooth, lowkey, and surprisingly mature for someone who just wrapped up high school. The PlugnB influence is front and center, but there’s this gentle Afrobeats shimmer underneath that gives the whole thing a soft edge without dragging it into something overly sentimental. It’s clear OB1 isn’t interested in chasing a sound, he’s carving out his own.

The vocals really carry the weight of the track, they’re clean, controlled, and never overdone. You can hear the emotion without it being forced, which makes the whole thing land even harder. “Miss You” sounds like something he needed to make, not something built for clicks. That personal touch seeps through the track’s mood and pacing. It feels like the kind of song you let play when you’re not in the mood to say much but still want something that gets it. For someone only 18, OB1’s got a strong grip on tone and restraint.
