Neeve Rose – “Hatchet”

Neeve Rose released “Hatchet” on October 31st, 2025, and it’s a solid track. This is her first time doing a full conceptual song, and she pulled it off. She went for a seductive slasher vibe, and it actually works really well.

She recorded this at her home studio in Rochester and took some cues from Ashnikko and Snow Wife, but the song still sounds like her. Producer Sean Guidry and co-producer Sam Hitchcock worked with her to get it right, and Daniel Alan Grace did the mixing and mastering to clean everything up. Her vocals sound confident and controlled, and the song has this playful but assertive energy that keeps you interested. She clearly had fun with this one and wasn’t worried about fitting into any specific box. The music video was released on November 14th, 2025, so she’s keeping the momentum going.
