LAOR – “ÊMOONÀ”

LAOR released a new album titled ÊMOONÀ, and it is a really beautiful collection of music. Coming a few years after her debut album, Agradeço, this eleven-track project feels like a great next step for her.

LAOR mixes her own original songs with interpretations of traditional medicine pieces, creating a peaceful space that is all about healing and just being present in the moment. You can hear how much her life journey shapes the music. She was born in the United States, grew up in Israel, and now lives in Ibiza, and all those different cultures come together naturally here. Her background exploring the power of the human voice over the last twenty years really anchors these tracks, blending Indigenous traditions and Jewish heritage with Mediterranean vibes.

It is clear she treats song as a form of prayer, especially on tracks like Great Eagle, Minha Estrela Guia, and the title track, Êmoonà. She has already built an international following playing gatherings like Medicine Festival in the UK and Exit Festival in Serbia, and these recordings capture that exact same community energy.
