James Zero – “YOU’RE A GHOST”

I’ve been spinning James Zero’s new track “YOU’RE A GHOST” on repeat and I’m completely hooked. This song hits that sweet spot between driving energy and emotional weight that makes early 2000s rock so addictive.
The track opens with some killer guitar licks courtesy of rising guitarist RJ Pasin, and right away you can tell this is going to be something special. James Zero handles everything else here – drums, bass, guitar, and vocals, and the talented artist clearly knows his way around every instrument. The production feels tight and polished without losing that raw edge. The vocals really caught my attention. James adds this modern autotuned touch with some vocoder work that somehow makes the nostalgic pop-punk sound feel fresh again.
This is apparently one of the final singles leading up to James Zero’s upcoming album “early2thou” and if this track is any indication, we’re in for a treat. Make sure to follow James Zero on social media to stay updated on the full album release.
