Doctor Noize – “1-2-3-4-5-6-7 A Song”

Doctor Noize just released a new single titled “1-2-3-4-5-6-7 A Song”, and it’s honestly a really cool idea for a kids’ track and I’m pretty sure you will love it. The whole thing is about how to build a song, and it somehow makes that fun without talking down to anyone. It’s smart, lighthearted, and easy to get into, even for adults sitting in the room.

What impressed me was how big the sound is, but it still feels really approachable, and you’ve got Doctor Noize himself, Anton Schwartz on sax, the Colorado Children’s Chorale, and a full orchestra from Prague. It sounds like a wild combo for a children’s song, but it actually works. It feels like everyone involved is in on the fun, which makes it enjoyable to listen to.

The music video is also worth checking out, it’s made from over 15 years of footage from Doctor Noize’s shows and studio sessions. It doesn’t feel staged. It’s more like watching someone look back on all the people they’ve made music with, there’s a lot of heart in it. If you’re into creative stuff for kids that actually teaches something, this one’s worth your time. Follow Doctor Noize on social media to see what else he puts out in 2025.
