Deep Sea Arcade – “No Direction”

I’m head over heels for Deep Sea Arcade’s latest single “No Direction”, from the first second it will grab your full attention.
This track is their first release since the devastating loss of Nick Weaver in 2021, and you can hear the emotional weight of every note. Nic Mckenzie’s vocals glide effortlessly over the melody, that perfect balance of melancholy and hope that makes you want to drive with the windows down at sunset. In this track, you will find every element to have a strong and unique track: rich and attractive vocals, unique writing style, and clean production.
Co-produced by Jay Watson (of Pond and Tame Impala fame), “No Direction” combines Mellotron strings with custom synths and glockenspiel that provide the song with its unique groove. If you are a fan of MGMT or Tame Impala, you will be immediately attracted to the psychedelic soundscape of this track.
I truly believe that this one single sets the stage for their upcoming third album and Australian tour, and I highly recommend that you follow Deep Sea Arcade on social media to stay up to date with all their releases in 2025 as they continue this exciting new chapter in their musical journey.
