Dan Webb x Logan Kane – “Things Rise and Fall”

Dan Webb teamed up with emerging LA jazz prodigy Logan Kane for a new single titled “Things Rise And Fall”. The track comes ahead of Dan’s fifth album, Lion Dance, which lands on November 13.

Dan took a massive leap with this project after moving from Melbourne to Singapore. Leaving behind his usual surroundings pushed him to travel around Southeast Asia, soaking in new cultures, rituals, and local traditions. That whole experience fed directly into the songwriting process. On this particular track, Webb tapped into Taoist philosophy straight from Laozi’s Tao Te Ching.

Having Logan Kane on bass brings a sharp dynamic to Dan’s mix of jazz, rock, and electronic elements. Kane is known for his work with acts like Louis Cole and KNOWER, and his presence here highlights the impressive circle of musicians Dan gathered for the record. It shows how far Dan has come as a self-producing artist, moving from interviewing music legends on his previous album to actually making music alongside them.
