Creative Vibrations – “Sunday Bummer”
Creative Vibrations’ Sunday Bummer is the kind of album that feels personal. It’s honest and rich, and this is why I love it in the first place. Across 13 tracks, it explores identity, burnout, relationships, and how confusing the world can get.
A few tracks hit especially hard and can stick in your head for days, “Unleash the Beast” and “Skeletons” dive into insecurity and self-growth without sugarcoating anything. You can tell those songs came from a real place and then there’s “Problems” and “Information Overload,” which take aim at how fake and frustrating everything around us can feel. They’re sharp without being cynical.
Even with all that, the album still finds space for hope. “Palace in the Sky” and “Messages” are more about holding on to something, whatever that is for you and by the time you get to the final track, “Groove Process,” it pulls everything together in a calm, reflective way.
Sunday Bummer doesn’t go for easy answers. It sits in the middle of the mess and says this is life, and that’s not a bad thing. Follow Creative Vibrations on social media to stay updated on new music this year.
