Brendan Pegg – “Hard to Find”
Brendan Pegg’s new single, Hard to Find, is my favorite track of the week and I’m pretty sure you will love it. Just a clean, honest expression of feeling lost in the search for something meaningful. The sound is soft and lo-fi, with a kind of late-night energy that draws you in without needing to say much. You can tell it wasn’t made in some polished studio. That’s part of what makes it feel personal.
There’s a warmth to the guitar and a stillness in how it plays out. It’s the kind of track that fits during a long walk or when you’re lying awake thinking about stuff. Brendan’s delivery is calm and reflective, and it works. It doesn’t sound like he’s putting on a show. It sounds like he’s just saying something he’s been holding onto for a while.
If you’re into indie or chill pop and want music that gives you a second to breathe, give this one a listen and you will adore it. Brendan’s clearly making music his own way, and that’s something more artists should be doing. Keep an eye on his socials if you want to hear what else he shares through the rest of 2025.
