Shab – “Skin & Bones (Damon Sharpe Remix)”

SHAB and Damon Sharpe did something interesting with “Skin & Bones”. The story is rough. SHAB was recording in LA when she got the call that her partner was in a bad car wreck back in Dallas, and you can hear that fear in the original. He recovered after a long rehab, and the song changed into this thankful, loving thing instead of just being sad. Sharpe turned it into a dance track, which is a strange move considering where it came from, but it actually lands. You can move to it and still get what she’s saying. Not every remix can do that.
