Glass Rumours – “The Rolling Deep Blue Sea”

Glass Rumours’ new single, “The Rolling Deep Blue Sea”, lands as a solid indie rock cut with plenty to chew on. From the first time you hit the play button, it’s clear the band isn’t afraid to get personal, tackling self-doubt and the constant grind of trying to create something that feels real. I just love the clean production and the unique writing style.

The song drops sly nods to legendary artists, some easy to catch and others tucked away for sharp-eared listeners. It’s a clever detail that adds another layer without pulling focus from the core of the track and makes you interested. It’s safe to include this track on my top 10 tracks of the week list.

The vocals stand out with an unpolished honesty that makes the themes land harder and there’s a push and pull in the track that keeps it engaging, with moments that feel reflective and others that push forward with grit.
