Starry Venus – “SOUL”

I’m excited to share with you “SOUL”, the debut EP from Starry Venus. There’s a warmth and honesty to this EP that makes it feel really human, even though the sounds are full of electronic textures. It’s like hearing a story told in a dream. Starry’s voice weaves through the beats so naturally, and everything feels intentional without being too polished or perfect. I really like how it plays with contrasts, there’s softness and strength, calm and tension, light and shadow. The balance just feels right. Tracks like “Stars”, “Million Years”, and “This Moment” are easy to follow but my favorite is “Do You Feel It”.

As I listened, I could feel how much care went into it. You can tell Starry Venus comes from a deep place. There’s this energy in the songs that feel both personal and universal, like a quiet kind of empowerment. I really enjoyed this release. It felt both peaceful and energizing, and it’s one of those projects that made me stop what I was doing and just listen.

This is the kind of music I want to share with friends late at night or put on during a walk when I need to clear my head. I’m seriously excited to hear what she does next, and with music videos and remixes on the way, this feels like just the beginning of something bigger.
